A reference copy of the Community Forest Management Agreement (CFMA) signed between the People of Gheegbarn 1 Community Forest and the Forestry Development Authority (FDA) of Liberia. It was signed on 23 November 2017. It has a duration of 15 years and is located in District #2, Grand Bassa County. It is adjacent to Gheegbarn 2 community forest, and the map included in the document does not distinguish between the two locations.

It is designated a commercial community forest, and challenges regarding the relationship between the community and logging companies have been documented:
