Civil society counter-brief on the Cameroon-EU VPA
This briefing argues that initial efforts in implementing the Cameroon-EU VPA must focus on ensuring a legal review process which clarifies that many marginalised communities in fact hold rights to use and live in the forests. There must also be broad stakeholder involvement in the monitoring of logging activities.
