Gbi Community Forest Management Agreement
A reference copy of the Community Forest Management Agreement (CFMA) signed between the People of Gbi Chiefdom/Community and the Forestry Development Authority (FDA) of Liberia. It was signed on 18 July 2011. It has a duration of 15 years and is located in Gbi & Doru District in Nimba County and Doedain District, Rivercess County. It is adjacent to Blinlon and Garwin community forests.

It is designated a commercial community forest, and various challenges regarding the community and companies have been documented:
- February 2017: Holding the line: All Liberia’s large logging contracts are illegal, threatening the country’s EU, Norwegian, and EITI reform programmes.
- 25 July 2017: Logging company sues community leader over money, materials for Doru.
- 18 June 2018: Internal divisions hurt Gbi-Doru battle for forest benefits.
- 18 November 2019: Villagers hold vigil outside Forestry Development Authority over logging dispute in Nimba.
- 11 May 2021: LTTC denies that it ordered shooting and arbitrary arrests in Gbi-Doru.
- 24 March 2021: Liberia Tree and Trading Corporation re-commences operations Nimba following supreme court’s clearance.
- 2 February 2024: Liberia Forest Concession Review, including a set of documents on Gbi collected by the research team.
