A third-party independent auditor who is not part of the system that is being audited – we did not contribute to establishing the system

The IM employs international best practices set out in ISO 17021, ISO 17065, and ISO 19011 to undertake its functions

Impartial, independent body whose decisions are based on objective evidence of conformity (or non-conformity) obtained during evaluation activities

Decisions are not influenced by other parties or interests

Functions complement the overall objective of achieving success in the VPA
